Stevens 555 Trap Compact
The Stevens 555 Trap Compact is a 20 gauge single-barrel break-action trap shotgun with a 26 inch chrome-lined carbon steel barrel and a 3 inch chamber. It uses a compact Turkish walnut stock and forend with an oil finish and an adjustable comb. The lightweight aluminum alloy receiver is silver finished and reinforced at the breech with a steel insert.
A raised ventilated rib with a bead sight supports a trap sight picture. A tang-mounted manual safety and a manual extractor are standard. Three screw-in chokes are included. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. Overall length is 42.5 inches and weight is 6.8 lbs.
This 555 Trap Compact is well suited for trap shooting and compact-stock field use. The 20 gauge chambering and 13.75 inch pull fit smaller-stature shooters. Single-barrel operation keeps the gun simple and easy to manage.
