The CZ P-01 is a compact 9mm with an aluminum frame. It was originally designed for law enforcement and military duty, however, its compact size and reduced weight makes it the ideal choice for a discrete personal carry. The decocker of the P-01 is perfect for those that prefer hammer-down carry, while the heavy first-round trigger pull makes any additional shots crisp with their single action. The P-01 also features an integral 1913 accessory rail on its dust cover, making it easy to mount any standard lights and lasers.
Reliability: The U.S. Army “Mean Rounds Between Failure” (MRBF) requirement is 495 rounds for 9mm pistols. During testing of the CZ P-01, the average number of stoppages was only 7 per 15,000 rounds fired. This is a .05% failure rate or an MRBF of 2142!
