The Gemtech Aurora-II is a micro 9mm silencer designed for maximum suppression in a compact package. It uses an entirely wet environment to achieve its performance. The original design dates to 1995 and was developed for military pilot escape and evade kits.

The suppressor contains eight wipes held apart by aluminum spacers. No booster or Nielsen device is required because the unit is light and small enough for virtually all modern handguns to cycle. Wipes are disposable and last roughly 15 to 25 rounds before becoming uncomfortable to shoot, so the design is not intended for high volume shooting.

This model suits low volume applications where a compact 9mm silencer is needed. It is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. The muzzle accepts 1/2-28 or M13.5x1 LH threads and the unit is compatible with the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Plus.
